Our FIRST Tech Challenge Championship Tournament was held on Sunday, March 2, 2008. The location was Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. Here is a table showing teams that won awards:

FIRST VEX CHALLENGE (program name was changed in 2007 to FIRST Tech Challenge)
HANGIN'-A-ROUND
A pilot program in 2006 implemented by ORTOP for 16 teams launched FTC in Oregon. The first championship was held at the Intel Jones Farm Conference Center. The Inspire Award Winner was the Psychotic Strawberryz from North Plains and The Winning Alliance were Hicks from the Sticks from Springfield, OR and 1st Salem Vex from Turner, Oregon. All three teams represented Oregon at the FVC World Festival in Atlanta, GA in April 2007.

The 2010/2011 Oregon FTC Championship Tournament will consist of 24 teams from 6 qualifying tournaments. The Qualifying events consist of five, 16 team tournaments a one, 24 team tournament. Each of the 16 team tournaments will advance three teams and the 24 team tournament will advance five teams to the championship tournament. In addition, an FTC team hosting a qualifying tournament will also advance to championship.
For each qualifying tournament the Inspire Award and Winning Alliance teams will automatically advance to the championship. Any remaining open slots are filled from the highest advancement scoring teams. A team’s advancement score is determined as the sum of the team’s accomplishments as shown in the table below.

A team may only receive one invitation to the championship tournament. In the event that the Inspire Award winner is also a member of the Winning Alliance; or if a host team is the Inspire Award winner or a member of the winning alliance those slots are opened up to additional teams.
In the case of a tie score then a random drawing will be used to select the team that will advance.
Any points for exceptional Gracious Professionalism will be awarded by the collective decisions of the Tournament Director, Judge Advisor and Head Referee.
There are 20 slots for advancing teams from Oregon Qualifying events to the State Championship and 4 slots for QT HOST teams who organized an Oregon FTC Qualifying Tournament.

Evergreen is being produced by ORTOP and the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum with assistance from FTC Amity Coach Craig Hudson and Kelley Eng, OSU is produced by OSU Robotics Club.
ELIMINATION ROUND ALLIANCES
There are two team alliances in the elimination rounds for 16 team events.
There are three team alliances in the elimination rounds for 24 team events (OSU and Championship). Although only two robots play on the field during the match and one sits out.
