  Leaders

As a group leader, you can introduce your group to the excitement of technical teamwork using LEGO robotics. Attend a robotics workshop to learn more and gain hands-on experience building and programming a robot. If you like, we will arrange for a technical professional to advise you and assist you in introducing robotics to your group.

Group leaders and teachers who are interested in forming one or more teams to enter a FIRST LEGO League team in a local tournament in Oregon may apply for a scholarship that will cover all or part of the cost of robotics kits and registeration fees. Click here for more details.

As an Oregon teacher you can introduce your classes and after-school clubs to engineering projects that include the basics of mechanical design, electronics, and software programming. Your students will see how science and mathematics are used to solve real-world problems. You can attend a hands-on workshop to learn more. If you like, we will arrange for a technical professional to advise you and assist you in introducing robotics to your class.
